I’ll start off with the basics. It’s been a few years since I’ve worked on BJ Pinchbeck’s Homework Helper. We did a little refresher in 2007, but since then I haven’t really touched it. My dad, Bruce Sr, has been working on it here and there and kept it running. So what have I been up to, you might ask?
I’ll keep this quick: Film School at Drexel University, Internships at Philly.com (The Philadelphia Inquirer), Interned at Smuggler Films in NYC, worked my way up to shoot music videos that went on to air on MTV, BET, and VH1. Won a National Geographic Short Film Award. Worked at Comcast & NBC Sports as an Editor. and now I’m working at symphony as a videographer. It’s really been one amazing adventure.
I guess I just needed a little bit of mental “rest” from the website. We’re back and fresher than ever. We’ve added the new teachers & parents section in addition to this blog to keep updated links and articles that can help in the classroom and at home for parents, teachers and students.
There were a lot of dead links and outdated resources which we purged and have updated with the best links on the web, which will continue to grow as we come across them. We strive to curate the best educational resources online again and bring them to you. We used to say, “If you can’t find it here, then you just can’t find it.” But now in the age of Google you can find just about anything. The problem is there is almost too much information available. We will feature only the best resources so your valuable time isn’t spent sifting through websites.
Moving forward, we have some very exciting expansions to the site that I can’t wait to share with you. As always, please send us your recommendations, as they only help us all in the quest for great online resources. Please follow us on Twitter @BJ_Pinchbeck and Like us on Facebook.
All my best,
